Bio

Evan Martens is a first-year PhD student in the German Department at UC Davis. He earned his bachelor’s degree at UCD and looks forward to continue working with and learning from the German faculty. To date his favorite German writers are Wolfgang Borchert, Franz Kafka, Else Lasker-Schüler, Tupoka Ogette, and Yōko Tawada.
