Besides teaching opportunities, UC Davis offers a variety of fellowships to all kinds of students: incoming and continuing, California residents and non-residents. Be sure to apply!
In order to apply for fellowships at UC Davis, you must fill out the application for Internal Fellowships by January 15th.
Fellowships may include full payment of tuition and fees. The fellowship application has been integrated into the online admission application process. So if you are a new applicant,
make sure to fill out the Internal Fellowship Application portion of the admission application. In addition to the Internal
Fellowship Application, your Statement of Purpose, the Transcripts for all schools listed on your application, your GRE Scores,
and your three Letters of Recommendations (all from your admission application) will be the criteria used to determine whether
you are awarded a fellowship. Consequently, your entire admission application must be submitted by January 15th.
US citizens must also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Out-of-state and international applicants may be eligible for Non-Resident Tuition Fellowships (NRTF).
This is part of the Internal Fellowship Application mentioned above. Domestic non-residents can
Establish California Residency
after 1 year if they have taken the appropriate steps. Domestic non-residents will only be eligible for a NRTF their first year.
If you are a continuing student, in addition to the Internal Fellowship Application, you will need to submit:
A (New) Statement of Purpose, UC Davis Transcripts, and Letters of Recommendation (3).
