About the Speaker:
Dimitris Vardoulakis is a lecturer in Literature and Philosophy at the University of Western Sydney (Australia). His books include the monograph The Doppelgänger: Literature’s Philosophy (Fordham UP, 2010), and the edited collection Spinoza Now (U. of Minnesota Press, 2010). He is currently co-editing, with Andrew Benjamin, a collected volume on Walter Benjamin and Martin Heidegger and writing a book on sovereignty and political theology. He has published numerous articles in English and Greek, including in journals such as Substance, Angelaki, and Cultural Critique.
